ejunction convocation held on March 4
The evening began with the chanting of Sanskrit shlokas by ejunction students who underwent training at the Sarada Math in Dakshineshwar.
The CEO & MD Mr Viresh Oberoi delivered the welcome address. The highlight of the programme was a panel discussion on “Volunteering is the cornerstone of social sustainability”, in which the participants were classical dancer and eminent social activist Ms Alokananda Roy, in-charge of cultural and education wing of Sarada Math Prb. Nitya Muktaprana, GM CSR of SAIL Mr B. Bhaumik and CTO of Apeejay Surrendra Group Mr Subhashis Saha. Mr Oberoi moderated the discussion.
Dr Parijat De, director technical education and training, government of West Bengal, graced the occasion as the chief guest.
Certificates were awarded to as many as 135 successful students from all ejunction centres, who had cleared the module between September 2013 and January 2014. All partners and star trainers were also recognised.
